S and I got up this morning and wandered town a little bit. I wanted to orient her, so we walked to the landmarks she needs to navigate and up a hill to see the city laid out below.
We also found a nice little piece of racisim:
Then, coffee and a snack, and on to
rehearsal.
At rehearsal, we ran the show
and took care of a few notes. Eli and I met S for a quick dinner (pizza,
salad), and then I headed back to the theatre for our first (and only) preview.
The preview went well! We learned a lot about the show, including
the fact that it’s really not appropriate for kids under seven. After, E, S, and I went for a cocktail and an
ice cream treat.
Home, for notes. Tomorrow’s another short day of rehearsal!
