Last Thursday, as I was about to start teaching a class, I got a phone call from my department chair, informing me that I had received tenure from the University. So, next year, you can call me Associate Professor.

The Night I Found Out I Was Adopted
So, I'm in a band called The Night I Found Out I Was Adopted. We're a new-music, improvisatory, i-device-only band, dedicated to exploring how these new-fangled digital devices can be used to create meaningful musical experiences. We've been invited to perform at the Prague Design Quadrennial this summer in the Czech Republic, and we're trying to raise some funds to go there. We've started a kickstarter.com campaign to help us raise some funds to get there. Please consider clicking on the link and contributing a little bit of bucks to help fund the travel. Neither Brad nor I are getting paid for this - the money is going towards travel expenses.
